We’ve had a re-brand! Thanks to Perez Parrido for the new look, it’s a fantastic visual which we think more accurately represents mandersmedia as for some time now, we have been selling multiple formats and the old image really represented Vinyl Records. We like its dynamic, colourful but classic look with plenty of movement. Our logo has also changed to more accurately reflect our image moving forwards. The font here has also changed from an ornate to cleaner contemporary look. We hope you like it and we’re always interested to hear your feedback.

New ways to pay! We have just introduced new ways to pay at the shop on Discogs which include Paypal Credit (in GBP), Cashiers Cheque, Cheque, Money Order and Cash. We would like to offer as many options as possible to purchase to make it as convenient for you to buy your favourite music as possble.

We can play grade everything we sell! We’re very proud to be able to play grade everything we sell… Last week, we highlighted the Akai Open Reel and Akai 8 Track machines used for this, this time, it’s the Sony MDS-JE440 MiniDisc we highlight, this is a classic player from Sony and, in the future, MiniDiscs will become another format we will be selling.

Lots of Price reductions! Yesterday, there were around 100 price reductions through mandersmedia across the different formats, the Blog with them all on was published last night, it’s our biggest amount of price reductions for you! Every week, prices get reviewed to make sure they remain fair and competitive.

…enter the Akai CR-81D 8 Track player, a lot of superlatives get said about this machine, including ‘one of the best three 8 Track players ever made’, I must admit, when I first gave it a test spin with some soon to be listed items (watch this space), I was very impressed…

… enter the Akai 4000DS Open Reel Player, if you’re familiar with Akai Open Reels, you’ll know the 4000 Series is famed for it’s flexiblity and great sound, we will be adding Open Reel tapes in the future… There has been more hardware added, stay tuned…

Finally, one of the aims of this blog is to help enrich your music experience so new Blogs have been added here, welcome Jazzwise, this is the UKs premier Jazz music source, Music Week Presents and Richer Unsigned, both these Blogs promote new and upcoming talent, there is an endless seam to very talented musicians coming through all the time…

Hello everyone and hope you’ve had a great week…

Here at mandersmedia, we are format agnostic, already you’ll find cassettes as well as vinyl, in the future, Open Reel (Reel to Reel) after acquiring the lovely Sharp RD708V, 3 speed, 4 track Stereo machine.

Next on the agenda is 8 Track, in the next few days, mandermedia will have a Teleton 8 Track and Amplfier combination. As a play grading service is always available, this will enable the grading of cartridges before being sold.

 

There was quite an influx of vinyl into mandersmedia in the last week, around 100, from a wide variety of genres, including Funk/Soul, Classical, Brass & Military, Rock, Country etc, take a look…
Don’t forget to check out the various mandersmedia websites coming online, spotlight this week is on mandersmedia.cheap, everything on this site is the equivalent of £1.00 or less (about 1.18 Euro, 1.29 Dollar, 146.10 Yen) each! It’s a great place to pick up a bargain or build a starter collection very quickly. Have a dig and pick up some bargains!

 

Here at mandersmedia, we’re forever trying to think of ways of improving the presentation of parcels when you receive them, after getting a laser printer, we are now in the position to use labels on parcels rather than stuck on pieces of paper, a small incremental change which is hoped you’ll feel looks better…

 

Our Blog rendering service that’s used on some of the stream has been upgraded so you’ll find in the coming days, Blogs with a more friendly and useful layout, starting with the Discogs Blog, please feed back what you think of the new looks Blogs when they launch..
