The week in mandersmedia

Welcome and hope you’ve had a good week…

We are now selling books! This week sees the launch of Bookogs and we are selling books, for the time being Discogs will be the main focus but Books will become moreso as time goes on, by the way, still look at Discogs for music books which we will be starting to list in the next week.

We’ve purchased a scanner! Mainly for administration but will be used for sleeves (Cassette, CD, 8 Track etc.) when we list more in the future.

Play Grading focus: Akai CR-81D This is the 8 Track machine used for play grading, this is seen as one of the best 8 Track machines ever made, you may be intrigued to know that 8 Track was created by a consortium lead by Bill Lear of Lear Jet fame. Anyway, here’s more information on the Akai CR-81D.

New Blogs and Podcasts added! 78Man is a enlightening podcast about the world of all things 78RPM from themed shows to favourites, each podcast is around 30 minutes each, if you’re a 78s collector or interested to know more about this format, have a listen. Keep an eye on the Blog as when they post, you will see it here.

#DiscogsData Discogs describes this as ‘All music trivia, all the time. Interesting facts on releases and genres in real-time.’ Again, watch this Blog as this will also appear here.

Discogs Seller Feedback, this is be a real-time posting of ALL feedback from customers purchasing from us on Discogs, we believe it’s important for you to see what experience you’ll get when purchasing from us.

A few other tweaks we’ve updated to bibliogs to bookogs and Instagram logos in the Seller’s Shipping infomation.

Price Reductions every week, we review the prices to continue to be fair and competitive in our pricing, please see the tags for a list of artists that have had Price Reductions, if you’d like to see what we have on your ‘Items I Want’ list, go to bit.ly/mandersmedia.

That’s it for this time, have a great week ahead… John
